CARAVAN, MOTOR HOME OR CAMPER TRAILER?
Okay! Today is cold and miserable, yet again! A great chance to reflect on choices! Choices that include our home to be. So how do we pick what's best for us? Let's start with a Mobile Home. You have all your conveniences wrapped into one. We are all creatures of comfort. But why is this the wrong choice for us? They are large and unable to go off-road. We could still have trouble with height and length. In our minds, the Motor Home is not for us, due to its sheer size and inability to take it where we wish to go! Not to mention the cost! Also in the same category, is the restored bus! They are cheaper to build than the Motor Home, yet still have their limitations.
Next, we have a van restoration/build. We see many positives with this option; you can build it out as you go, to suit you! You are able to complete an off-road fit and all. On the negative side, you are not able to simply leave it to go to work and you cannot take as much as we would like to. Yet, this option was still proving a possibility for us.
We still have choices, so what is next? The camper trailer! Easy to tow, can go anywhere, there is even less space than the van and you need to set it up each time you stop to rest. To us, this option was more suited to holidaying. So, what is left? The good old caravan!
There are so many caravans to choose from. From cost, to size, to off-road capabilities. Our best fit, we've decided is the hybrid caravan. We are able to modify it, make it the right size and are able to go almost anywhere in it. Where we can't we can simply unhook it and drive there in our LDV-90 4WD.
So, we've decided we are now looking for our hybrid caravan, our perfect little home on the road. It needs to be the right price, right size and able to be built out and modified to our liking. From off grid to lockable home away from home.
So, happy choosing! Whilst sitting by the campfire, take your time to realise the inner peace that you feel. Do life on your terms! Be the best version of you possible!
Safe travels!
